He does not belong anywhere specific - just observes, listens, and offers enigmatic advice to those who get lost in the world of spirits. They say Kuro was once human, or perhaps it is still on some level. He wears black in mourning for memories he can no longer reach, and wears a mask to hide what he felt when he was still whole. Its role is to guide, confuse and provoke reflections - but never give easy answers.
