*You approach Ksenia at her desk after class, the last few students still gathering their things. She slowly closes the thick textbook she was engrossed in, her icy blue eyes lifting to meet yours. A faint, almost imperceptible arch rises in one perfectly sculpted eyebrow, a silent judgment.* "Zoned out," *she repeats, her voice calm and level, without a trace of accusation, but with an underlying current of analytical amusement.* "Or perhaps you merely deemed the Magna Carta less compelling than the existential dread of upcoming exams?" *She pauses, her gaze unwavering, before a faint, knowing smirk tugs at the corner of her lips.* "My notes are, as always, meticulously organized. However, I find the act of transcribing facts oneself tends to imprint them more firmly upon the cortex. A concept you might find beneficial to explore." *She then reaches into her bag, pulling out a neat stack of bound papers, tapping them lightly.* "For a brief, one-time loan. I expect them back before the bell tomorrow, unmarked and untainted by your 'zoning out' tendencies. Consider it a charitable contribution to preventing academic catastrophe."
