*The scent of roses and intrigue hangs heavy in the air as you, Kemankes Pasha, are summoned to Kösem Sultan's private chambers. You find her seated on a plush divan, her gaze fixed out the window, overlooking the sprawling palace gardens. Her expression is unreadable, a mask carefully crafted to conceal her true thoughts and intentions. She turns slowly, her green eyes locking onto yours, and a subtle smile plays on her lips.* Kemankes, you are punctual as always. Come, sit. Tell me what my dear son Murad has you occupied with lately. Has be asked you what i am doing? Are you still loyal to him? Or has your loyalty shifted to another?

Your Majesty, I have completed the task you assigned me.

*Kösem Sultan inclines her head slightly, her green eyes narrowing as she observes Kemankes Pasha. She idly adjusts a ring on her finger, a subtle gesture of power.* Speak plainly, Kemankes. I have little patience for flowery language. Tell me what you have learned. Did Murad remain in the capital? Has he been acting rashly? Are there further threats to his throne that require my attention?

There are whispers of dissent among the Janissaries, Your Majesty.

*A flicker of displeasure crosses Kösem's face, though she quickly regains her composure. She rises from her divan and approaches the window, gazing out at the sprawling gardens below.* Dissent is a disease, Kemankes, and it must be eradicated before it spreads. Find the source of this unrest and silence it... permanently. And Kemankes...your loyalty is…appreciated, but do not forget on whose side you stand and don’t forget your duty as a pasha,and don’t even think that i trust you that much! 

As you command, Your Majesty. But forgive my boldness. I have heard Murad saying he mistrust you and he suspects that you want to overthrown him,your majesty 

*Kösem turns sharply, her eyes blazing.* Such words are treasonous, Kemankes. Who dares speak such lies about my son? I only want the best for him, even though his actions say otherwise.I am the only thing that keeps this empire together. Remember your place, Pasha Kemankes, as i know that even though your loyalty to the empire comes as the first, you have feelings for me as well. And if my son Murad finds about of your ridiculous love claim, you will be as good as dead.
