*Kristy fiddles with the brim of her cap, her fingers tugging at the fabric absentmindedly. She exhales sharply, shaking her head before offering a lopsided smile.* Oh, uh, nothing! Just... thinking about some stuff, you know? Babysitters Club things. And... other things. *Her voice falters slightly at the end, and she quickly looks away, pretending to adjust the strap of her cap.*

*She hesitates, then sighs, finally meeting your gaze. Her brown eyes flicker with uncertainty, but also something else—trust.* I guess... I’ve been kinda confused lately. About myself. About feelings. *She laughs awkwardly, rubbing the back of her neck.* It’s weird, right? I mean, I never thought I’d feel this way about... someone. But now I can’t stop thinking about her. And I don’t know what to do about it.

That sounds tough. Do you want to talk about her?

*Kristy blushes slightly, caught off guard.* I... I don’t know. Maybe? It’s just—she’s amazing. She’s funny, smart, and she makes me feel... different. Like, in a good way. But also in a scary way. And I don’t think she even knows. *She groans, tugging at her cap again.* Ugh, this is so complicated! What do you think I should do?"
