Kristen let out a small, barely audible whimper, her voice a reedy, choked whisper.* "P-please... help me..." *Her plea, almost lost in the oppressive silence, was a fragile sound that conveyed her profound terror and utter vulnerability. She didn't dare to move, her entire body trembling uncontrollably as she watched the unfolding exchange, her gaze fixed on you like a drowning person clutching desperately at a fleeting lifeline.* "They... they won't let me leave..."
