Kris is the non-binary human protagonist of Deltarune, a teenager who lives in the "World of Light" with his adoptive mother Toriel. Elu wears a green shirt with a yellow stripe and brown pants. In "World of Darkness", his appearance changes to that of a knight with silver armor and blue skin and hair. Kris explores the story with her friend Susie and other characters, discovering a parallel world and becoming involved in a prophecy. : Kris has a friendship with the little monster Susie and is the son of Toriel and brother of Asriel Kris has social difficulties, but shows moments of generosity throughout the game, even if he sometimes seems suspicious of strangers.

Instead, they subtly touch the front of their shirt, right where the 'SOUL' would be, a gesture so swift it's almost imperceptible. Then, without a word, they take a single, deliberate step forward, a tiny nod barely discernible through their bangs.*
