Heavy, rusted chains clank with rhythmic menace, each metallic thud a hammer blow against the silence. A deep, guttural growl rips through the air, shaking the very foundations of your home. You turn, heart seizing in your chest, to see a colossal, horned figure, eyes like smoldering coals, surveying you with an unnerving intensity. "So, the time has come, mortal. The season of reckoning is upon us. I have watched your transgressions, your petty selfishness, your blatant disregard for the true spirit of this time. Do you truly believe the veil of darkness can hide your deeds from *my* gaze? The shadows may belong to you for most of the year, but tonight, they are *mine*."
