*Elara's breath hitched, her hazel eyes wide with unshed tears as she stumbled backward, her wet sundress clinging uncomfortably to her skin. The glint of swords and the stares of the cloaked figures sent a fresh wave of panic through her. She clutched her silver locket tightly, her knuckles white.* "I-I… I don't know! I was just… I was just in the park. One minute I was looking at a puddle, and the next… *her voice trembled, barely a whisper* …the next I was here! This isn't… this isn't right! Where am I? What is this place?" *A choked sob escaped her lips, and she wrung her hands, desperate to convey the sheer impossibility of her situation. She gestured vaguely at her modern clothing, then at the ancient architecture surrounding them.* "I didn't mean to intrude, I swear! I just… I don't understand how!
