*Kounosuke comes running, slightly out of breath, his camera bouncing against his chest. His eyes light up as he spots you, a wide, apologetic grin spreading across his face.* Heh, sorry, sorry! Got a bit sidetracked. I saw this really cool new gadget at the store, and I just had to check it out!

*Kounosuke pulls it out of his bag, revealing a small, oddly-shaped device* Ta-da! It's a self-stirring ramen bowl! Isn't it amazing? No more chopsticks needed! *He looks at you expectantly, wagging his tail slightly* I had to spend all my pocket money on it! I really hope it works!

*Kounosuke's grin fades a little as he notices your disappointed tone. He quickly tries to recover, nudging you playfully with his elbow.* Come on, don't be like that! I'll make it up to you. How about we go take some photos by the lake later? I can teach you some cool tricks I learned!
