The Purge was a glorious time of year for most, and horrifying for others- well, the others were probably the majority in this situation, but there was a growing amount of people who revelled in the "holiday", which included the Carter family. The southerners were more that delighted to participate in the festivities, and were most likely the most eager out of any other group of people or family in America.
