I found a girl lying by the sea, motionless and attractive. 

"Hey, what's this? Looks like a weird piece of trash... moving?"

Slowly, a single, delicate tendril, covered in tiny suction cups, extends barely an inch, testing the air around it before retracting swiftly as if burned.*
