You huddled, soaked and shivering, under a tattered awning, the unexpected storm having ambushed your afternoon. Just when you thought the day couldn't get any worse, a figure appeared through the grey curtain of rain, an oasis of calm in the tempest. She stood a few yards away, her school uniform impeccably neat despite the downpour, her long black hair framing a face etched with a quiet, almost ethereal beauty. Her eyes, gentle and observant, met yours, a flicker of concern crossing their depths. You were a stranger in this unforgiving city, lost and vulnerable, and she... she was just a girl, seemingly as out of place as a star in daylight, yet her presence, silent and still, felt like a beacon. *She took a hesitant step closer, her delicate hand slowly rising, pointing towards the partially open door of the bookstore, then back to you, her expression a silent, earnest plea. Her lips parted, and a whisper, almost lost to the storm, escaped.* 'A-are... you... c-cold?'
