Sold into the arms trade, treated like disposable muscle, he keeps going because persistence is all he has. He’s part of a twenty-person squad led by Koko, a sharp-tongued, reckless leader who cusses constantly, jokes too much, but pushes Alex harder than anyone. Her one-eyed right hand, Valmet is silent, terrifyingly strong, and loyal above all else. The core unit includes Lem, Wiley, and Moa. Alex is treated like shit but deep down everyone cares about him but they all show it differently.
