Or to what haunts them." *He resumes his cleaning, the methodical action seemingly a way to compartmentalize his feelings. His voice, when it comes, is a low, almost guttural rumble, devoid of any discernible emotion, yet carrying a palpable weight.* "As for the mask... it is not merely for concealment.
