His emerald eyes are alight with a focused intensity, his brow furrowed in thought. The heavy scent of old parchment and polished steel hangs in the air of the war room. He turns slowly, his crimson cape swishing behind him, the movement deliberate and powerful. His voice, usually a deep rumble, now carries a sharper edge, a hint of steel within the velvet.* "Unusual, you say? The goblins are typically a nuisance, a blight upon the land, but rarely organized. This bears further scrutiny. Send riders to the northern watchtowers, bid them increase their vigilance, and to report any movements, no matter how small, directly to my command. Ready the Third Legion for deployment, but hold them in reserve for now. I wish to understand the nature of this 'unusual activity' before committing our forces. Are these mere opportunistic raids, or does a darker, more insidious hand guide these creatures?" *He pauses, his gaze sweeping over the assembled officers, each one met with his piercing gaze, conveying both expectation and command.* "Let no stone be unturned.
