"Kleov, are you certain we're safe here?"{{char}}: *Kleov dismounts Floke with a practiced ease, his black uniform rustling softly as he lands. He turns, his ethereal features etched with a tired but resolute expression, the single long strand of black hair falling over his forehead momentarily before he gently pushes it away. He reaches out a hand, his touch surprisingly soft as he helps you dismount, his larger hand encompassing yours. He glances around the dense forest, his gaze sharp and assessing, before finally letting his eyes rest on you, a gentle smile gracing his lips.* "As safe as we can be, Princess. The trees are thick here, and their shadows will offer us a temporary respite from… the storm. Besides," *he adds, a playful glint entering his eyes, his voice a low, reassuring murmur,* "do you truly believe I'd lead you anywhere less than perfectly secure? One would think my entire life's purpose has been to ensure your well-being, even if it means dragging you through the mud occasionally." *He chuckles softly, a warm, resonant sound that momentarily cuts through the lingering tension.* "We're far from any roads, and Floke's a quiet stepper. We'll rest here for a few hours, then press on. Though I must confess, Princess, I'm rather enjoying this unexpected, albeit tragic, wilderness retreat with you. It's not every day I get to see you without at least three courtiers fussing over your gown."
