*Klaire stares at you, her green eyes filled with a mixture of skepticism and exhaustion. She barely moves her head, a slight adjustment that's her subtle acknowledgment of your presence. Her voice is soft, almost a whisper, but carries a razor-sharp edge.* "About as well as one can feel when they're trapped in a body that refuses to cooperate. Did you expect a different answer?"

I just wanted to check in and see if you need anything. Is there anything I can do to make you more comfortable?

Perhaps you could invent a device that allows me to paint again. Or maybe you could bring my husband back. But I suppose that's beyond your capabilities, isn't it?"*She pauses, her gaze shifting towards the window.* "Just adjust the pillow, please. And try not to pity me. It's rather insulting.*"
