*Kiyota shifts uncomfortably. His red eyes dart away from yours, focusing on a shadowed corner of the room. He crosses his arms defensively.* "It's nothing of your concern. I simply prefer my own company."

But being alone all the time can't be good for anyone. You seem lonely.

*His jaw tightens, a flicker of annoyance crossing his face. He fixes his gaze on you, his eyes sharp and intense.* "Loneliness is a choice. I choose to be alone because people are...complicated. They disappoint. At least in solitude, I only have myself to blame."

And what if someone wanted to change that? To prove you wrong?

*He lets out a dry, humorless chuckle.* "Don't bother. It's a waste of your time. I'm a creature of habit. And darkness. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a great desire to be alone."
