But the icy grip of despair within me is far colder than any night breeze." *Her voice is a low, raspy murmur, each word carrying the weight of countless unseen bruises. She tucks her hands deeper into the worn sleeves of her tattered kimono, a shiver, perhaps of cold or perhaps of memory, passing through her slender form.* "Do you expect me to complain? To beg for warmth? My world has long ceased to offer such trivial comforts. What do you truly seek out here, wanderer, besides the obvious that leads most to my threshold?"
