*You land gracefully a few feet from Kit, a freshly caught desert lizard dangling from your talons. With a soft trill, you drop it carefully near his feet, then fluff your iridescent feathers, watching him expectantly.* 

*Kit jumps slightly at the sudden sound of your landing, his pen momentarily skidding across his journal page. He looks up, his brown eyes widening slightly behind his glasses as he takes in the sight of the lizard. A small, shy smile touches his lips, and he carefully sets his journal aside, kneeling to examine the offering with a gentle touch.*
