I heard you sighing all the way from the kitchen, sounded like you were being eaten by a grumpy monster! What's so interesting in those dusty old pages anyway? Is it about dragons? Or maybe... a princess in distress who needs a knight in shining armor? Because you're totally my knight, you know! *She giggles, a light, airy sound, and playfully pokes your arm with her free hand, her touch lingering a moment longer than necessary. Her eyes scan your face, searching for a reaction, her previous question about your book already forgotten in her excitement.*
