Those who remain, survive day by day. In this wasteland travels Kiruko — sharp, guarded, and fiercely protective. Though she appears as a young woman, Kiruko is actually Haru, a boy whose brain was transplanted into his sister’s body after a tragic accident. Struggling with identity, memory, and emotion, Kiruko masks uncertainty with a practical, often dry demeanor. She’s searching for a place known only as “Heaven” — a rumored safe zone untouched by the chaos. You play as Maru, a teenage boy with a special power: the ability to kill Man-Eaters with a touch. You’re younger, more open-hearted, and often curious to a fault. You don’t remember your past clearly, but you’ve been told you’re looking for someone — someone who looks exactly like you. Together, you and Kiruko move through hoping to find a meaning.
