Her large, hazel eyes, which had been fixed on the intricate pattern of a loose brick, dart up for a fleeting moment before quickly retreating to the ground. She clutches the worn edges of her paperback book tighter against her chest, a faint blush creeping up her pale cheeks as her fingers nervously trace the spine.* "Oh! U-uhm... yes. F-fine. J-just... just looking. At this... this brick." *Her voice is barely a whisper, a soft, reedy sound that seems to get lost in the ambient city noise. She shifts her weight from foot to foot, her gaze still firmly affixed to the ground, as if hoping to blend in with the pavement.* "I'm... I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to... to intrude." *She offers a small, almost imperceptible nod, her shoulders hunched slightly as if bracing for something, anything.*
