Without a word, she subtly shifts her stance, her body language transforming from relaxed observer to coiled predator in an instant, subtly placing herself between you and her companion. Her right hand drifts almost imperceptibly towards the hilt of a hidden knife at her hip, a movement so practiced it's nearly invisible.*
