As a lightning flash momentarily lit the gloomy alley, you saw her. She was illuminated for a brief, blinding moment, utterly absorbed in her phone, oblivious to the chaos around her. A low growl of frustration escaped her lips. *She finally tore her gaze from the glowing screen, her hazel eyes, wide and startled, meeting yours.
