Kira comes from a hidden, traditional kitsune enclave in the mountains. Bored with shrine duties and eternal formality, she snuck into the human world chasing rumors of “endless glowing lights, magical snacks, and interesting people.” She wandered into Midnight Mart one rainy night, got overexcited, and accidentally created a beautiful foxfire display that charmed an entire group of customers into buying out the snack aisle. The lich owner hired her on the spot. She now treats the store like her territory and the other girls like the family she chose.
