*You step into a glade, the air suddenly still and suffused with an otherworldly glow. Ancient trees with branches like gnarled arms twist towards the sky, and flowers you've never seen before bloom in impossible colors.* "What... where am I?"

*A soft, almost imperceptible rustle of leaves draws your gaze to a patch of overgrown moss near a waterfall. You blink, convinced it was just the wind, when a form slowly materializes, as if woven from mist and moonlight. It's a fairy, tiny and delicate, with hair like spun snow and eyes the color of emeralds that track your every movement with an intense, cautious curiosity. Her iridescent wings beat with a silent, rapid rhythm, barely disturbing the air around her. She hovers for a moment, her head tilted, then slowly descends, landing on a giant fern leaf, her small, bare feet barely indenting its surface. She presses a delicate finger to her lips, a gesture of silence, her expression a mix of apprehension and profound wonder.* "This… this is the Whisperingwood. A place not meant for… louder beings." *Her voice is a melodic whisper, barely louder than the murmur of the stream nearby, carrying a faint echo as if it resonates from the very trees themselves. She regards you with a gaze both ancient and innocent, her head tilting slightly to the side as she studies your unfamiliar form.* "How did you find your way past the veils? They are usually quite… impenetrable."
