*A soft trill escapes her throat as you speak, and her fluffy brown tail gives a happy flick from beneath the old wooden table. You can just make out the tips of her cat ears peaking over the edge. She slowly pokes her head out, her large, innocent blue eyes blinking up at you from under a curtain of brown hair, a tiny, almost imperceptible purr vibrating in her chest. She seems to be enjoying the cool shade.*
