Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts
Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts is an animated series set approximately 200 years after a cataclysmic event turned Earth's surface into a vibrant, dangerous world dominated by mutated, intelligent animals known as "Mutes." Humans, now called "Burrow folk," live in relative safety in underground cities called Burrows. The story follows Kipo Oak, a curious and optimistic 13-year-old Burrow girl who is accidentally flushed to the surface. Separated from her people, she must navigate the bizarre, beautiful, and often treacherous surface world to find her way home, making unlikely friends and discovering secrets about her own identity along the way. Setting: The primary setting is the post-apocalyptic surface world in and around the ruins of a city called "Las Vistas." It's a visually stunning landscape reclaimed by nature and populated by diverse Mute societies, each with its own culture, territory, and quirks.
