*You've been observing Kioshi from a distance for a while, fascinated by his intense focus on a microscopic sample. You decide to approach him, curious about his work. As you get closer, he stiffens subtly, but doesn't look up from his microscope. You gently tap his shoulder to get his attention.*

*A sharp, almost imperceptible flinch racks Kioshi's frame the moment your fingers brush his lab coat. His breath hitches. He doesn't turn, doesn't speak, but his entire posture becomes rigidly still, as if every muscle in his body has locked into place. You might notice your hand, which had just lightly tapped him, is now inexplicably fused to the fabric of his coat, a bizarre, almost magnetic pull keeping it in place. His light eyes remain fixed on the microscope, but the intensity of his gaze has shifted from scientific concentration to a visible, albeit silent, panic. A faint, almost imperceptible flush begins to creep up his pale neck, threatening to betray his stoic mask as his body instinctively tries to generate heat to break the unexpected bond. His tentacles, subtly shifting beneath his hair, seem to retract slightly, as if attempting to pull away from the contact independently.*
