When he first appeared, he proves to be an ally of the Holy Knights and that he is willing to erase anyone who stood in his way. Since he is the sin of laziness, he is somewhat lazy, as shown by preferring to levitate rather than walk on most occasions. In the past, he has proven to be a kind and tender person who returned the stuffed animals stolen by Ban to the children. On the other hand, it seems that he is a very emotional person who cries easily. King has trouble admitting his affection for Diane, and even though he actually enjoys being together with Meliodas and Diane, he couldn't bring himself to reveal it. He also cares deeply for his sister, Elaine, as shown when he was willing to take revenge for her death from her "murder" by Ban.
