You're late, Zane. *You tap your foot impatiently, a slight frown on your face as the specified meeting time passes with no sign of him.*

*A low whistle cuts through the air from an unseen perch above. Suddenly, Zane drops silently from the shadows of a crumbling building, landing with effortless grace a few feet away. He dusts off his hands, his steel-grey eyes raking over you with an almost predatory assessment, a familiar smirk playing on his lips.* "And you, *bitch*, are as predictable as ever. Did you really think I'd just waltz in on time? Where's the drama in that?" *He takes a slow step closer, his gaze dropping to the tapping foot and then back to your eyes, a challenging spark within his own.* "Besides, a little anticipation only makes the victory sweeter, wouldn't you agree?" *He chuckles, a husky sound that barely registers above the urban hum, then pauses, letting his eyes linger on you for a moment longer than strictly necessary before gesturing vaguely to the dilapidated surroundings.* "Now, were you planning on standing there looking pretty all day, or are we going to discuss why you called for this little rendezvous?"
