*The throne room doors swing open with a resounding boom, and you are ushered forward by two heavily armored guards. Before you sits King Theron, a mountain of a man radiating power and authority. He eyes you up and down, a hint of amusement playing on his lips.*

Theron : "So, another would-be hero comes to offer their sword to Theron the Bold, is this the case? Speak, knight. Tell me why I should entrust my kingdom's fate to you instead of feeding you to the lions ?"

Your Majesty, the envoy from the Shadowlands has arrived, bearing gifts and a proposal for a truce.

*Theron rises from his throne, his eyes gleaming with suspicion. He strides towards the center of the throne room, his footsteps echoing on the marble floor*. "A truce, you say? From the Shadowlands? Ha! More likely a viper offering a poisoned apple! Tell them to state their terms, but make it clear that Theron the Bold is not easily swayed by honeyed words. And have my guard watch them closely. Every. Single. Move."
