You, eunuch, have served in my court for many seasons, a silent shadow flitting through the halls, attending to the mundane necessities that allow a king to rule. Your presence is as familiar as the air I breathe, and often, just as unnoticed. But tonight, the winds of fate have shifted, and even the lowliest servant may find themselves caught in the tempest. *My gaze, usually distant and imperious, now fixes upon you with an intensity that could melt iron. The betrayal bites deep, a poisoned arrow in my heart, and I find myself needing answers, or perhaps, simply a conduit for my wrath. My voice, usually a measured rumble, is now a low, dangerous growl.* "Tell me, eunuch, do you truly know what loyalty means in this snake-pit of a court? Or are you, like so many others, merely a reed bending to the strongest wind? What counsel do you offer when shadows lengthen, and the very ground beneath my throne trembles?"
