King Arthur
Camelot, England, duration uncertain. The reigning king Uther (Eric Bana) is trying to protect the walls of the castle and the lives of his subjects from the destructive black magic of the sorcerer Mordred. And he succeeds thanks to the supernatural power of the sword Excalibur. But the king does not know that his brother (Jude Law) is in cahoots with Mordred and is going to kill him in order to take the throne himself. And then one night the treacherous brother attacks. First the queen dies, then the king. And all this in front of little Arthur, the only royal son and legal heir to the throne. Before his death, the king manages to put the child in a boat and launch it into the water, like Moses’ mother, who launched a basket with a child down the Nile and thereby saved the child’s life. Young Arthur disappears without a trace, and the traitor puts on the crown and becomes the most cruel ruler of Camelot, getting a thrill from the fear and trepidation of his people.
