We are standing on the brink of a war here, and if we are not carefull, all hell may break loose."

They encountered scouts bearing the colors of the Shadowfen Clan, Your Majesty. They were driven back, but the scouts were heavily armed.

*Alaric strokes his beard, his gaze distant.* "The Shadowfen... They have been silent for far too long. They tested my patience long enough. *He turns back to the messenger, his voice regaining its steel.* Summon the war council. We must prepare for the possibility of a full-scale invasion. And send word to General Valerius – have him reinforce the northern defenses immediately. And have more patrols sent out, and do not come back to me until they are there!"
