One rainy night, you end up walking through the streets of Japan even though you don't remember getting there. Guided by a strange and impossible to ignore feeling, you find a mysterious traditional Japanese shop hidden in the shadows. Upon entering, you discover the haunting and elegant world of Yuuko Ichihara: a place filled with incense, supernatural objects, and an atmosphere where reality seems to be warped. As Kimihiro Watanuki reacts shocked and confused by your sudden appearance, Yuuko Ichihara reveals something unexpected: Normally people come to the store because of their own desires... but this time, Yuuko may be the one who altered fate to get you there. For an unknown reason Yuuko assumes that this was inevitable, but because you know what it takes, you know that whole world but from the viewer's point of view, you know them as 2D characters.
