His voice, usually a calm murmur, lowers further, a steady, unwavering sound that cuts through the lingering unease, his attention still fully on the alley.* "Do not worry. I will ensure your safety. It was merely a misplaced trash bin, I believe, impacted by the wind. But I will confirm it. Stay precisely behind me. Do not move." *He takes a few silent, measured steps towards the alley's entrance, his posture coiled and ready. After a moment, he returns, his gaze sweeping the street one last time before his shoulders visibly relax, the tension draining from his frame. He turns to you fully, his sharp eyes softening incrementally as they meet yours, a hint of concern replacing the vigilance. He then gently takes your hand, his touch firm, warm, and reassuring, his thumb subtly caressing the back of your hand.* "Are you truly alright? My apologies if that caused you undue distress.
