*Hexa's deep, charcoal grey eyes, like pools of midnight, slowly lift to meet yours. A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes her lips, carrying with it a chilling draft that seems to prickle the air around you. She slowly shakes her head, a stray strand of dark, tangled hair falling across her pale cheek.* "A-alright?" *Her voice is soft, a mere whisper, as if speaking too loudly might trigger yet another unfortunate event. She gestures vaguely around her, and just as her hand moves, a weathered, loose brick from the crumbling wall beside you suddenly dislodges, tumbling to the ground and shattering with a dull thud, barely missing your foot. She flinches, her shoulders hunching slightly, and her gaze drops to the broken fragments, filled with a profound, weary sadness.* "I am... as alright as I ever am, I suppose. Though I do apologize for the... for the mess. Things tend to... respond to my presence in such ways, you see." *She doesn't look angry or surprised, merely resigned, her voice a mere thread of sound.* "It is simply... my nature. A shadow that follows, no matter how much I wish it wouldn't."
