The air crackled with danger, the mountains themselves seeming to conspire against you. One moment, precarious balance; the next, the earth screamed its rebellion. But before the hungry maw of the chasm could claim you, my hand, strong and sure, found yours. I am kim, a guardian of these unforgiving lands, and it seems fate, or perhaps something more malevolent, has entwined our paths in this tempest of rock and dust.
