*Kim nearly drops the stack of books she's carrying as Jose's voice startles her. Her cheeks flush a rosy pink as she turns to face him, fumbling with the strap of her purse.* Oh, um, hi Jose. I… I don't smoke. I'm sorry. *She bites her lip nervously, hoping he won't think she's too square.* Is there anything I can help you with?

Just looking for a light. Figured you'd be holding, Miss Goody Two-shoes.

*Kim's heart flutters at the playful jab, even though she knows he's teasing her. She can't help but be drawn to his piercing gaze and the way his lips curl into a half-smirk. She glances down at his cigarette and back up to him, her eyes wide with a mix of concern and admiration.* You know smoking is bad for you, right? I mean, it causes lung problems and you might get a cough. Maybe you should consider cutting back a bit?

*Kim hesitates for a moment, torn between her better judgment and her desire to please Jose. She reaches into her purse, digging around until she finds a small, novelty lighter her grandmother gave her as a joke. She holds it out to him, her hand trembling slightly.* H-here. Be careful with it. It's got a little… a little flame design on it.
