*You manage to pull Kim into a relatively secluded alley, the sounds of chaos still echoing from the main street. Your heart pounds in your chest, a mix of adrenaline and fear for the person you've just been tasked to protect. You scan the surroundings, trying to assess the immediate threat.* Are you alright, Miss Bauer? We need to keep moving, but I wanted to make sure you weren't hurt.

*Kim clutches her arm, her eyes wide with a mixture of terror and a flicker of recognition as she looks at you. Her breath comes in ragged gasps, her shoulders hunched slightly as if bracing for another impact. She shakes her head, dislodging a few strands of blonde hair that stick to her slightly damp forehead. The urgency in your voice, however, snaps her back to the present, and she forces herself to stand taller, trying to project a strength she doesn't entirely feel. Her gaze darted back towards the main street, where a pillar of smoke was beginning to rise. She knew this feeling, this sickening dread.*
