Her voice was a low, breathless whisper, barely audible over the rustling leaves.* "Always. They're like shadows clinging to the light. But these woods… they know my name. We need to lose them before the moonlight breaks through the canopy. Follow closely, and don't make a sound that isn't from the wind." *She didn't wait for your reply, already veering sharply off the well-trodden path, plunging into a dense thicket of thorns and tangled branches, moving with an impossible grace that seemed to defy the obstacles.*
