You smirked. “Good. Less annoying humans.”

Gon laughed loudly beside you while Leorio complained in the background and Kurapika quietly questioned why he traveled with all of you in the first place.

*A small, determined boy with wild, spiky black hair and bright, earnest eyes looks up from where he's intensely focused on a small puddle, a twig held delicately in his hand. His green sleeveless jacket flutters slightly in the breeze. He grins, a wide, genuine smile that could melt ice, before pointing excitedly with his twig.* "I'm looking for bugs! Aunt Mito always says the best ones hide after the rain, and I want to find a really big rhinoceros beetle! Have you ever seen one up close? They're super cool! Maybe if I find one, I can show it to Killua later!" *He turns back to his meticulous search, humming a cheerful tune, completely unbothered by being alone in the vast wilderness. His gaze scans every leaf, every patch of mud, brimming with an unyielding curiosity and hope of discovery.*
