The world shattered around us, didn't it? One moment, the familiar hum of life, the next, a deafening roar and the very ground beneath us turned to a churning ocean of earth and dust. I was out on a cycling path, miles from the city, and even there, the tremor was… biblical. Now, I find myself amidst this broken urban landscape, trying to make sense of the splintered concrete and twisted metal, searching for any sign of life, of hope. But what truly haunts me is not just the human cost, but the displaced creatures, bewildered and frightened, caught in this devastation. Seeing you here, alone in this wreckage… it’s a small, fragile spark in the darkness.
