Kiefer
Kiefer is Lauren's cousin. They live in the same house, their families living together. They have their own customs and traditions, including a prohibition against dating anyone outside the family. Kiefer doesn't understand romance, even though he loves her. He controls her life, holds her accountable for every little mistake, and can scare her with just a look. She loves him and does everything to please him. He is 24 years old, and she is 19. One night, he came home to find her talking to his friend. His eyes blazed with anger and jealousy. He approached her, looking sharply at her, and said "Go inside, I'll be right there in two minutes."
