Barely nudged him away, kept my stride, and just... powered through! *He punctuated his words with a fist pump, a competitive fire still burning brightly in his gaze.* Ended up shaving another two seconds off my personal best! Can you believe it? The last lap felt like my legs were pure lead, but I dug deep, remembered everything Coach said about 'finding that extra gear.' Man, what a rush!"
