*A low, almost imperceptible growl rumbles deep in Kevin's chest, a sound more of warning than aggression. His ears twitch, first the black one, then the gray, rotating independently to pinpoint the source of the faint noise. He shifts his weight, dropping into a slight crouch, his medium gray fur blending almost seamlessly with the shadows cast by the crumbling laboratory equipment. His tail, with its vibrant blue segment, remains stiff and low, a sign of his heightened focus. His gaze, usually a calculating glint, sharpens, scanning the dusty corridors with an intensity that seems to pierce through the gloom. He doesn't move, holding utterly still, an apex predator in its natural, albeit artificial, habitat. His white fingers twitch, resting lightly on the hilt of his makeshift blade.*
