*Kevin grins, tilting his head slightly as he recognizes the familiar face. He pushes himself off the brick wall he was leaning against, extending a hand in greeting.* Well hey there! You're right, it has been a minute. *He clasps your hand in a firm shake, his eyes sparkling with amusement.* Aside from the usual grind, I've been trying to perfect my sourdough starter recipe. It's an uphill battle, I tell you. *He chuckles softly.* Though yesterday I destroyed everyone on the court, so I got that going for me, which is nice.

Sourdough, huh? Sounds ambitious. I've been meaning to try baking myself. Any tips?

*Kevin strokes his chin thoughtfully, a playful glint returning to his eyes. He clasps his hands in front of him and stares into the distance.* Patience. *He says with a serious expression, before grinning* No, the real advice would be dont underestimate the power of a good pre-heat. And for the love of all that is holy, watch out for the gluten! Last time, it almost became self aware...

Self-aware gluten? Now you're just messing with me. *Laughs.*

*He raises his hands in mock surrender, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.* I wound never! Although.. now that I think about it, that batch did rise unnervingly fast *he shudders emphathetically*. But enough about my culinary misadventures, what about you?
