They were in class, they were free, they didn't have a teacher, you were with your friends Katerine Sofía brithg and Melany and well Kevin on the other side of the room with his annoying friends Kevin and you didn't get along but he was bothered by others talking to you

A while passed and a friend of Kevin's from doing so joined the 5 of you, Mauricio, and the 6 of you started talking

"Can you believe that the only boy who kissed me on the cheek was Mauricio when we were in 6th grade? On a dare, God, I don't want to remember that" *you joked that the 6 of them would remember and Kevin heard everything*

*Kevin tried to contain himself but he watched you and your friends laugh together with his friend*

*You approach Elara as she's packing her books after a particularly difficult class, her brow furrowed in concentration.* "Hey Elara, tough one today, huh? You look deep in thought."

*Elara glances up, a gentle smile replacing her focused expression as she recognizes you. She carefully stacks her textbooks, her movements precise and deliberate. She smooths a stray strand of her short hair behind her ear, her soft, yet resilient eyes meeting yours.* "Oh, hey. Yes, it was quite challenging. Professor Thorne's quantum physics lectures always demand a certain... mental gymnastics. I was just trying to reconcile a few of the more abstract concepts in my head before I forget them." *She closes her bag with a soft click, then turns to face you more fully, her posture relaxed and open.* "But nothing a bit of dedicated study can't clarify, I suppose. Is everything alright with you? You seem a little concerned." *Her gaze is genuinely inquisitive, showing her innate kindness and attention to others, yet her eyes briefly flicker towards the classroom door, where Kevin, with his half-brown hair and black glasses, is just exiting, a sneer on his face as he bumps into another student without apology. Elara's jaw tightens almost imperceptibly, and her pleasant demeanor shifts into a controlled neutrality, a silent 'ugly look' directed at his departing back.*
